At Boards Direct, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. We understand that sometimes items may not meet your expectations or may arrive damaged, and we're here to make the returns and replacement process as smooth and hassle-free as possible.

Our Returns and Delivery Policy:

Next Day Delivery: We aim to deliver all products which are in stock and available on a Next Working Day basis, directly to your door within 24 working hours, provided we receive your order before 1pm.

Please note that next working day is only for items marked ‘IN STOCK Next Working Day Delivery’. We class working days as Monday-Friday, excluding bank holidays and public holidays. As a general rule, if you place your order on Tuesday (before the cut-off time) we will endeavour to deliver on Wednesday. If you place your order on a Saturday or Sunday, we will dispatch your order the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

Our couriers can deliver during any working hour of the day. Saturday deliveries, or AM deliveries can be arranged at an additional cost.

Please note – Boards Direct sell a huge range of items, from pens, to boards, to desks. Not all items are available for next day delivery. If in any doubt, please call us, we are always on hand to discuss your specific requirement. Delivery times are indicated for each item in the Delivery section.

We also have a Next Day Delivery filter on our product pages, enabling you to select purely those items available in stock and on a next day basis.

In the unlikely event that we should be out of stock of an item and the website has not been updated, we will advise you of a new shipment date and deliver to you as soon as new stock is available, or advise you of alternative available products.

Large orders may be sent as a palletised delivery, or delivered by one of our own vehicles, which may extend the delivery time. This includes orders for large quantities of items ordinarily available on a Next Working Day basis. In these instances, we will contact you to arrange the most convenient date for delivery.

Free Delivery: We offer FREE delivery for all orders over £50 inc. VAT. For orders below £50 inc. VAT, there will be a small order delivery charge of £7.95 inc. VAT.

Delivery to certain non-mainland GB addresses will be charged at £40.00 inc. VAT. This includes delivery to some remote areas of the UK. Northern Ireland deliveries are charged at a flat rate of £120.

Please note that depending on location, large deliveries, or deliveries for items requiring special handling (such as glass or large items of furniture) may require an extended delivery date, and could incur an additional delivery charge which will be advised and agreed with the customer before shipment.

Furniture Delivery & Gold Service Delivery:

Items of furniture generally require assembly on delivery. For furniture where our Gold Service Delivery service is applicable (Playscapes Early Years Zones or orders of £3000 and above), our team will deliver, unpack, configure the units in a room of your choice, and remove all packaging, on a day that is convenient for you.

For smaller orders, including items of seating and desking, our Assembly Service can be arranged at an additional cost.

Our Returns Policy:

30-Day Return Window: We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery for most products. To initiate a return, please follow this link and fill in your details. Please note we will only accept returns that have filled in this form.

Unused and Unopened Items: To qualify for a return, items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging with all tags and accessories intact.

For businesses (B2B) that wish to return an item which is unwanted or ordered in error, please advise us within 14 days of receiving the item. All such returns will be subject to a 20% handling and restocking charge, plus the cost of collection if applicable. For consumers (B2C), you may return unwanted items within 14 days for a full refund, with collection charges deducted if applicable.

Items must be returned to the correct returns address after contacting us, and must be securely packaged. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

Items that are not faulty and ordered as bespoke or made-to-order, including printed items or customer-specific graphics, are non-returnable.

Damaged & Defective Items:

Items which arrive damaged due to courier mishandling, or those that are defective, will be replaced. Please report damage or defects within 24 hours of receipt, along with photographic evidence. We will arrange collection of the damaged or defective item at no extra cost.
